Passing

Poem by Aelth Faye

Leaves are changing, green to red
Hair is graying on my head
The smell of pumpkin wafting by
Elicits yet another sigh
Christmas lights are going up
Purists' feeds all blowup
Time speeds by for all around
Tree and man alike are bound
But only man complains
When bare branch remains

The author of the Fairytale Hour series on Amazon, Aelth has loved books since before she could read and was crafting stories before she could write.
