Loss

Poem by Shubham Sharma

A memory
born out of loss,

A loss,
born out of
love.

And a loose
thread, binding
each of us
together for the
times we've shared,
times we've lost.

Yet it speaks
to no one but
in dreams,
of a distant past
we're unable to
leave.

And a moment
we dare to breathe
in the embrace
of a longing,

a wish not granted,
a prayer unanswered.

Shubham Sharma is just someone who loves to bind words together to create something beautiful.
