Shattered

A Chained Haiku by Destiny

If I could freeze hands
on this timepiece, seconds shall
last infinitely

But none command its
constancy, savor joy and
pain, they come and go

Hold still, allow the
agonizing memories
to flow from within

Uncage the turmoil,
let pain engulf you, for it
too shall pass sadly

Unburden your eyes
tears heavy, precious jewels
flow in agony

Grant your heart it’s ache,
privilege earned for love
true, heavens forsake

Unleash your soul’s cry,
honor gained from emotions
pure, loss now shattered

Time hurts, but heals too,
through pain and loss we travel
must, to heal and grow

Suppress not desires
to feel broken, for times the
foe and the friend too

Destiny is currently searching worlds through her words.

A Foundation Phase Specialist in reality and just Destiny in her writing, finding and reading herself through her written thoughts.
