Andy Oram is a writer and editor in the computer field. His editorial projects have ranged from a legal guide covering intellectual property to a graphic novel about teenage hackers. Print publications where his writings have appeared include The Economist, the Journal of Information Technology & Politics, and Vanguardia Dossier.

Under Thunder

Tricia Knoll is a Vermont eco-poet who lives in the deep woods. Published widely in journals, nine books of poetry are currently in print. This year's are Wild Apples (moving 3,000 miles from Oregon to Vermont) and The Unknown Daughter (27 persona poems in the voices of people visiting the Tomb of the Unknown Daughter).

Monsoon

Virginia Barrett is a poet, writer, artist, editor, and educator. She earned her MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco where she was poetry editor of Switchback. Her six books of poetry include Between Looking (Finishing Line Press, 2019) and Crossing Haight—San Francisco poems (Jambu Press, 2018).

Side Effects

James B. Nicola’s latest of eight full-length poetry collections is Natural Tendencies (2023). His nonfiction book Playing the Audience won a Choice award. His poetry and prose have received a Dana Literary Award, two Willow Review awards, one Best of Net, one Rhysling, and eleven Pushcart nominations—for which he feels both stunned and grateful.
