Rick K. Reut was born in 1984 in the USSR. He studied philosophy at EHU in Minsk, Belarus, and literature at Saint Petersburg State University in Russia. After graduation, he spent much of his career working as a translator and teaching English as a foreign language.

Alexis Ashe is an artist and writer based in New York. Her current obsessions include W.A.S.P., Stagecoach, and Bettie Page. She attends New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where her work has been featured in various poetry readings and showcases.

Jeral Williams is a retired professor of psychology and late-in-life poet. In addition to individual poems in Pure Slush, Written Tales, Heron’s Nest and other sources he has published one collection, Sunset Without Dawn, (Negative Capability Press, 2022). The collection is centered in his grief over the loss of a daughter.
