Poem By Tia Gray<\/h3>
The voice hits at one's worst,\nIt adds blood to the heart 'till it bursts.\nIts beauty eases the pain and the tears,\nIt destroys numbness, stabs it with spears,\nWith weapons of harmony,\nAnd sounds of glass.\nI do not know how he lets this pass,\nFor the only song he allows is a symphony\nOf sorrow and death.\nHe won't leave me be until my last breath.\n \nConstantly cutting,\nShutting\nMe away from all the light\nBecause of that, now, a fright\nOverwhelms my owl of steel.\nI realize that with his will,\nIt appeared and colored back\nThe word which was painted black.\n \n'Oh you, calamity, cursed jewel\nHow could you have been so cruel?\nTo ease my nightmare with the sound,\nMake me think we're no longer bound?'\n'World, do wake me up again\nI do not care how or when.\nJust, I beg you, get me out\nOf destruction's hold,\nOf this cruel god's vengeful world.\nI have gone enough without\nThe light.\nI miss being human by sight,\nI miss having my soul, my heart,\nEven if they were broken from the start.'\n \nIn front of the Destruction God, I do not bow\nSo, as revenge, the voice sounds now\nAs a broken cup.\nWake me up.<\/pre>
