Poem by Christine Law

Being unemployed is not easy
I see the blossom on the tree
thinking of better days.

The splendour of nature’s path
with joys of Spring and Autumn,
Let the memories come
as time passes by.

Rippling of the brook,
sound of children’s laughter
for the future yet untold.
May their days be full
of sunshine.
